How to Cook Cinnamon Sugar Biscotti (Step-by-Step)

Cinnamon Sugar Biscotti

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
