Ingredients
- 2 cans of refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons of chai spice mix (or a blend of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger)
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup of chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/4 cup of raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grab a bundt pan and grease it well to prevent any sticking.
- In a big bowl, mix together the sugar and chai spice. Open up those biscuit dough cans and cut each biscuit into quarters. Toss the biscuit pieces into the spice-sugar mixture until they’re coated nicely.
- Layer half of the coated biscuit pieces into the bottom of the bundt pan. Drizzle half of the melted butter over them, then sprinkle half of the brown sugar on top.
- Next, add the remaining biscuit pieces on top. Drizzle the rest of the melted butter over it and finish with the remainder of the brown sugar. Add in those nuts and raisins if you’re using them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the monkey bread is golden brown and cooked through. You want it to be nice and bubbly!
- Once it’s done, let it cool for a few minutes before flipping it over onto a plate.
- Serve it warm and pull apart those delightful pieces. Enjoy your yummy creation with family and friends!
