Beer boiled shrimp –
Beer-Boiled Shrimp with Old Bay®

Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 (12-ounce) can or bottle of beer (feel free to pick your favorite)
- 3 tablespoons Old Bay® seasoning (you can adjust this to your spice preference!)
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 garlic cloves, smashed
- Water, as needed
- Salt, to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish (because we need some greenery in our lives)
Instructions:
- In a large pot, bring the beer to a boil over medium-high heat. Take a pause to appreciate the bubbly goodness!
- Add the Old Bay® seasoning, lemon wedges, onion, and garlic to the pot. Let’s infuse that flavor. Give it a good stir and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Once that aroma hits you, it’s time to add those lovely shrimp. Carefully drop them in, and watch as they turn a beautiful pink.
- Boil the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes until they are just cooked through. Don’t wander off; you want to catch them at their prime!
- Once done, drain the shrimp and toss them in a large serving bowl. Feel free to garnish with fresh parsley if you’re feeling fancy.
- Serve hot with the lemon wedges alongside for that extra zing!
