Take a look at this gorgeous peach cobbler that’s as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate!

Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated and let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.
- In another mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, making sure to spread it evenly across the bottom.
- Carefully spoon the peach mixture over the batter, spreading it out gently. Do not stir, as you want the batter to rise up through the peaches as it bakes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until the cobbler is golden brown and the peach juices are bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. This cobbler is delicious warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top!
Enjoy your homemade peach cobbler with family and friends, and watch it disappear in no time!
