Here’s an eye-candy shot of the deliciousness we’re about to create. Just look at that golden-brown chicken! 🤤

Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour (for dredging)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup onion, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color you like)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Fresh basil for garnish
Let’s Get Cookin!
Now that we have our ingredients prepped and ready, it’s time to start cooking. This part is where the flavor comes alive!
- First, season your chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Dredge each piece in flour, shaking off any excess. This will give our chicken a nice crispy coating.
- Heat up the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once that oil is hot, add the chicken thighs, skin side down. Sear them for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In that same skillet, throw in the onions and garlic. Sauté them until they’re soft and fragrant. You wanna capture all those flavors from the bottom of the pan!
- Now, pour in the red wine vinegar and scrape up all those tasty bits stuck to the pan. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes before stirring in the honey and chicken broth.
- Add your bell pepper slices and dried oregano to the mix. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon some of that sweet and tangy sauce over the top.
- Cover the skillet and let it cook on low heat for about 30 minutes. This will let all the flavors meld together beautifully.
