One of my all-time favorite recipes is Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops paired with Grilled Nectarines. This dish is not only easy to prepare but also bursting with flavor, making it a delightful treat for any summer gathering. Let me take you through the steps to create this delightful meal!

Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops

These pork chops are marinated with rosemary, giving them a fragrant and savory flavor that complements the sweetness of the nectarines perfectly.

Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped rosemary, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Place the pork chops in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag, ensuring the chops are well coated in the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. While the grill is heating, prepare the nectarines.

Grilled Nectarines

The sweetness of grilled nectarines is an incredible contrast to the savory pork chops, making this combination a must-try!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe nectarines, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Cinnamon, for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brush the cut sides of the nectarine halves with olive oil. If desired, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  2. Once the grill is preheated, place the pork chops on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  3. During the last few minutes of cooking, add the nectarines to the grill, cut side down. Grill for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks.

Once everything is cooked, serve the grilled rosemary pork chops alongside the grilled nectarines. Your taste buds will thank you! This dish is perfect for summer barbecues, family dinners, or just a delightful meal on a warm evening. Enjoy!
