Cranberry Horseradish & Honey Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 6-8 pounds)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup horseradish sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan, cut side down. Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
  3. Bake the ham according to the package instructions, about 15-18 minutes per pound, or until heated through (about 135°F internal temperature).
  4. While the ham is baking, prepare the glaze. In a medium bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, horseradish sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon. Mix until well combined.
  5. Remove the ham from the oven during the last 30 minutes of cooking time. Uncover it and brush the glaze generously over the surface of the ham, making sure to get it into the crevices of the meat.
  6. Return the ham to the oven, uncovered, and continue baking for the last 30 minutes. Baste the ham with the glaze every 10 minutes.
  7. Once the ham is beautifully caramelized and reaches a final internal temperature of 145°F (63°C), remove it from the oven. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

Serve this delectable Cranberry Horseradish & Honey Glazed Ham with your favorite sides, like roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes, and watch as everyone gathers around the table to enjoy a true feast!
