This lasagna is not only delicious but also easy to prepare. It’s made with a few simple ingredients that come together beautifully. Here are what you’ll need to create this scrumptious lasagna:

Ingredients:

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot of boiling water, cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Add the marinara sauce to the skillet with the cooked beef. Stir in the garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for a few minutes while you prepare the cheese mixture.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese.

  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil (to prevent sticking, spray foil with cooking spray) and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  11. Let it cool for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
