Delicious Beef Stroganoff
This classic recipe is sure to impress. It’s a perfect blend of tender beef, savory mushrooms, and a creamy sauce that will have everyone asking for seconds!

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz egg noodles
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes until the onion becomes translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes until they are golden brown.
- Return the beef to the skillet, and pour in the beef broth. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Once the mixture has thickened slightly, lower the heat and stir in the sour cream. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine the cooked egg noodles with the beef mixture, ensuring the noodles are well coated.
- Serve the Beef Stroganoff hot, garnished with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
This Beef Stroganoff is not just a dinner; it’s an experience that brings comfort and joy. Try it out, and you won’t be disappointed!
