Gather the following ingredients to whip up this delicious chocolate cake:

  • 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

Now that we have our ingredients ready, let’s get started with the steps to bake this scrumptious cake:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
