- 1 can (15 oz) garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and rinsed
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped (any color)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
