Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are incredibly soft and chewy, loaded with rich, chocolatey goodness. Perfect for sharing or savoring all by yourself!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup (220g) packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups (280g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. The center should still look slightly underbaked as they will continue to set as they cool.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, these soft chocolate chip cookies are perfect to enjoy with a glass of milk or your favorite hot drink. Share them with friends or keep them all to yourself — either way, they’re sure to be a hit!
