Delicious Tiramisu Recipe

Ingredients for Tiramisu
- 1 cup of strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 cup of mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and pale in color.
- Add in the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract to the egg yolk mixture. Mix until the ingredients are well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Gently fold the egg whites into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
- Next, quickly dip each ladyfinger into the brewed coffee for just a second on each side, making sure not to soak them. Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a rectangular dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers, smoothing it out evenly.
- Repeat the process with another layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
- Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisù with cocoa powder to add a touch of elegance.
