Ingredients
- 2 tbsp chili powder (no sugar added)
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp Diamond Crystal kosher salt
- 1 tsp dried Mexican oregano
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 1.5 lbs 80/20 ground beef
- 1 tbsp Chosen Foods Avocado Oil
- 8 romaine leaves or low-carb shells
- 4 oz shredded Kerrygold Dubliner cheese
Instructions
- Whisk all spices in a bowl. Makes about 1/3 cup, enough for 3 lbs of meat.
- Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it reaches about 400°F. Add the avocado oil.
- Brown the beef 6 to 8 minutes, breaking it up. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in 3 tbsp seasoning and 1/3 cup water. Simmer 3 minutes until glossy.
- Spoon into romaine and top with cheese.
